AHEC West is participating in provider recruitment for the University of Maryland School of Medicine by recruiting participants for their new fellowship program, The Women’s Health Clinical Training Program, now known as MARCH. Participants will be trained in the full range of women’s reproductive health and will receive a $4,000 stipend when training is complete.

The MARCH program aims to create a sustainable model for advancing family planning and women’s healthcare statewide by firstly providing targeted education to interested current or future healthcare providers, and secondly supporting the rollout of reproductive services to close gaps in access. The curriculum is an adaptation of the TEACH curriculum, and Continuing Medical Education (CME) credits will be awarded.
