A GGEAR training conference/webinar on dementia and related issues will be held 8:30 a.m. to noon on Friday, May 20. “Encourage. Empower. Engage: Supporting Older Adults Living With Dementia” will focus on the challenges of a Alzheimer’s diagnosis, as well as resources available to help caregivers and others address dementia-related issues. This will be a hybrid webinar/in-person seminar, with the in-person training held at Robinwood Professional Center in Hagerstown.

By attending this conference, Social Workers, Nurses, Professional Counseling and Psychologists and ALL Certified Dementia Practitioners and Certified Senior Advisors can earn 3.0 CEUs

A $25 registration fee is required, plus $25 for those seeking CEUs. Student registration is free. Scholarships are available.
