GGEAR Conference set for June 1 in Hagerstown

Registration is now open for the next GGEAR conference for professionals working with older adults and their families, to be held Friday, June 1, 2018 at Robinwood Professional Center in Hagerstown.
“Putting Our Arms Around It: Tools for Working with Complex Cases in Complex Times” will include presentations on:
  • Implementing person-centered, trauma-informed care with Holocaust survivors and other older adults with a history of trauma
  • Arrested-Development: Solutions for families stuck and stressed, and
  • Interviewing and intervention skills for complex cases
The conference will be held from 8 a.m. to noon. Continuing Education Credits are available for social workers, psychologists, professional counselors, and nurses. Advance registration is required. There is no charge to attend.
