Dietetic Caucus

Dietitian Favorites Cookbook

The mission of the Dietetic Caucus shall be to:

  • Serve as an advocacy and advisory group for the regional academic dietetic programs available in the organization's service area.
  • Serve as a catalyst for development of continuing education programs for area dietary personnel.
  • Promote dissemination of information relating to professional growth and development, professional ethical concerns, and/or pertinent dietetic and health related issues.
  • Promote the maintenance of a support network among dietitians.
  • Strengthen interdisciplinary understanding and cooperation between dietitians and other health and welfare professionals.

Active members of the Dietetic Caucus shall fulfill the following qualifications:

  • Completion of the Dietary Manager continuing education program with eligibility for certification; completion of or working toward a degree program as a Dietary Technician (2 yr. program, certification optional) or Dietitian (4 yr. program, registration required, licensed to work, or retired status).



Meetings occur the first Thursday of the month in January, March, May, July, September, and November. Meetings are held 5:00pm to 6:00pm at WMHS, with networking dinner to follow.
